Asset tracking software added to data capture portfolio

RealTime DC has recently launched RealAsset, another solution to add to its mobile data capture systems portfolio. RealAsset is a real-time mobile asset tracking system that allows you to keep track of your organisation’s assets.

Using the latest RFID/barcode technology RealAsset enables you to keep track of the location, procurement details, fault and maintenance history, current value/depreciation, and accurate lifetime costs of any asset whilst on the move using a PDA.  RealAsset also allows you to record the maintenance history of any asset, ensuring that the correct work is performed on the specified asset at the right time.

Using RealAsset will reduce the data collection and processing time of any paper-based system. RealAsset improves the detail and accuracy of asset information by collecting on a mobile device and synchronising the data back to be held in a centralised location via batch WLAN or GPRS. RealAsset can be used in all environments by using IP65 and ATEX approved mobile computers. Industry-standard crystal reports integrates with RealAsset to allow analysis and reporting by any parameter and give you the information that you need.

RealTime DC is also using a version of RealAsset to help the oil and gas industry. RealTime DC has joined forces with AMG Actuators to offer a solution that will allow oil and gas plants to record details of pipeline testing, ensuring that everything is working correctly to avoid any disruption to production.
