Attendance alerts now available as part of Real-Link system
An attendance alert module that will alert a supervisor or control room when a patrol is missed or not done on time is now available to all current and new Real-Link customers.
The additional attendance alert module can be fully customised to enable as many patrol points as required to be set up with the extra functionality. As an example a point could be set so that it must be patrolled twice a night between the hours of midnight- 2am and 4am-6am. If either of these patrols were missed an email and/or SMS alert would be sent to ensure that someone else is aware of this. Not only does this help you to ensure that you are providing the full service that you should be to your customers (and therefore meeting your SLAs and KPIs) but it also helps to ensure the safety of your lone workers. If a patrol is missed it could be due to the officer being unable to get to the patrol point for one reason or another. The alert that the patrol has been missed would enable you to try to contact the officer or send someone to him.
The Real-Link system is a proof of attendance system that uses mobile phones. By placing RFID tags in places that are to be patrolled, a security officer (or any other mobile worker) only needs to place the phone next to the tag to prove when they have been there. It can also be used to gather information, take photos and send location sensitive information to the employee.
