Real-Link for Security Patrols is Welcomed by Security Companies

This functionality is proving to be extremely usefully for security guard tours. They place RFID tags at certain points around static and mobile sites and the security guard is equipped with the NFC phone. When he is patrolling he simply touches the tag with the phone to prove he has been there. Real-Link also has other functionality that is ideal for guard tours. As well as transmitting basic information about where the guard has been and when, the system can also enable the guard to record information at the touch of a button on the phone. Information such as if the site is secure or insecure, if there is a broken window, a fire and a whole lot of other information can be recorded whilst on site. This not only removes the need to fill in paper forms on site but also enables a supervisor or control room to see this information immediately.
Within the last couple of months Real-Link has also had new functionality added which is also ideal for security guards. The attendance alert module enables a text message or email to be sent if a patrol is missed. This is a great tool to help with lone worker protection as you will know instantly if a patrol is missed and can try to contact the guard to check that everything is alright.
